Job summary

Alliance North America is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive New Product Introduction (NPI) from R&D to production, ensuring manufacturability and robust documentation. You will create Engineering Procedures, validate BOMs and processes, and work with R&D, QA, Process Engineering, and Operations.

The role requires collaboration across engineering disciplines, hands-on development, and a focus on cost and manufacturability. Fully onsite with 25% travel to other factory locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering.
• 3+ years in manufacturing engineering or NPI.
• Proficiency with ERP and CAD software; BOMs and drawings.
• Experience with DFM/DFA and cross-functional launches.

Responsibilities

• Lead the transition of new products from R&D through production readiness and handoff to Operations.
• Develop and maintain Engineering Procedures, torque specs, inspection points and validation requirements.
• Collaborate with R&D, mechanical and electrical engineering, QA, and Operations to ensure manufacturability.
• Plan pilot builds, production readiness, identify issues, and drive corrective actions.
• Validate BOM structures and routing in Business Central with cross-functional teams.
• Support Engineering Change Control and documentation for NPI builds.
• Ensure safety, regulatory, and environmental compliance in manufacturing processes.
