Sanmina Fremont, located in Silicon Valley, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to drive electromechanical product design from concept to production release, applying DFM/DFX and supporting new product development.

You will lead design activities, collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain, and ensure designs meet customer requirements and compliance standards. This role offers growth in a cutting-edge EMS environment serving AI, automotive, and semiconductor sectors.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 2–4 years of electromechanical design and DFx experience.
• Experience prototyping, production, and sheet metal structures is preferred.
• FEA analyses (static/dynamic/thermal) to accelerate development.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead mechanical design and manufacturing activities on assigned projects.
• Estimate efforts and define a comprehensive SOW with deliverables and timelines.
• Analyze project requests and develop mechanical solutions per customer requirements.
• Collaborate with industrial, manufacturing, electrical, and thermal teams.
• Perform VAVE to reduce cost and improve manufacturability.
• Ensure DFX integration with manufacturing and cost targets.
