Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS) seeks an NPI CapEx / AR Analyst to own global tracking and governance of capital equipment, tooling, and AR activity from initial requirement through production readiness. You will coordinate with Global NPI, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Purchasing and sites to ensure justified investments and timely delivery.

Responsibilities include end-to-end capital-request process, budget control, and asset visibility, with 10–20% travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related discipline.
3+ years of experience supporting manufacturing CapEx, equipment procurement, program finance, asset tracking, supply chain, or operations analytics.
Demonstrated ability to manage large data sets, financial/status trackers, purchase-order information, supplier schedules, and cross-functional action lists with high accuracy.
Working knowledge of capital equipment life cycle from requirement and approval through PO, supplier build, shipment, installation, qualification, and production release is preferred.
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are required; experience with Power BI, ERP/MRP, procurement systems, SharePoint, or project-tracking platforms is preferred.
Ability to understand basic manufacturing capacity and equipment-utilization logic and connect investment needs to program demand and readiness dates.
Strong communication, follow-through, and escalation skills with the ability to coordinate Finance, Purchasing, Engineering, Operations, and suppliers across global sites.
Travel - Approximately 10-20% domestic and international travel.

Responsibilities

Own the global tracking, governance, and financial visibility of NPI capital equipment, tooling, and AR / capital-request activity from initial requirement through approval, purchase, delivery, installation, qualification, and production readiness.
Coordinate the end-to-end capital-request process, including request preparation, supporting data, business justification, approval routing, change control, and status follow-up.
Compare equipment demand against existing global inventory, committed purchases, available capacity, and redeployment opportunities before recommending incremental investment.
Track supplier design, build, FAT, shipment, customs, installation, debug, qualification, and ramp milestones; measure dates and identify delay risks.
Maintain approved budget, commitments, actual spend, forecast-to-complete, and variance visibility; resolve mismatches between program plans, POs, invoices, and capital forecasts.
Maintain equipment-level information including location, status, program assignment, ownership, utilization, readiness, and potential redeployment.
