Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, is seeking a Project Manager for Customer Programs in the Power Solutions Group in the United States. You will coordinate front-end customer projects, drive NPI initiatives, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure seamless handoffs to manufacturing across Asia/North America.

The role requires strong PM skills, experience in the connector industry or related networking/data center domains, and willingness to travel up

Qualifications

• BS in Business, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Fluent in English; Mandarin a plus.
• Experience in connector industry and related server/storage/networking/data center knowledge.
• Career progression from design to manufacturing and NPI management is preferred.
• Excellent organization, adaptability, and strong PM skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between Product Management, Engineering, Site Operations, and internal teams to ensure alignment across all phases of front-end customer projects.
• Facilitate collaboration between cross-functional teams to define scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Support key customer initiatives in the Datacom segment by managing timelines and communications.
• Coordinate prototype builds and documentation required for New Product Introduction (NPI) success.
• Maintain project plans with milestones, risks, and dependencies; track progress and raise issues.
• Coordinate manufacturing readiness and transfer of processes to production in Asia/North America.
• Identify and mitigate risks early; develop contingency plans to keep programs on track.
• Provide regular program status updates and align with stakeholders at all levels.
• Travel involvement up to 30% internationally.
