Emerson Professional Tools (Ridgid/Greenlee) seeks a Mechanical Sourcing Engineer in Elyria, OH, to influence sourced materials and New Product Development. You will collaborate globally with commodity teams, engineers, suppliers, and Emerson professionals to revolutionize the industry.

You will drive NPD sourcing, manage global supplier base, and lead supplier reviews, while ensuring manufacturability and compliance with quality standards. This role requires travel and strong PM skills.

Formación

• Bachelor's in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience.
• Knowledge of PPAP, SPC, DFM, FMEA.
• Effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Strong project management and MS Office skills.
• 15%-20% overnight travel required.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsabilidades

• Drive NPD projects with RFQ, supplier selection, costed BOM ownership, PPAP, and risk mitigation.
• Manage sourcing projects with Pro Tools' global supply base, including cost modeling and make/buy analysis.
• Communicate supply chain status and risks to project stakeholders.
• Lead supplier decision reviews with executive leadership.
• Partner with suppliers to optimize design for manufacturability (DFM) and ensure quality/environmental standards.
• Support electrical sourcing counterpart in component sourcing and align supply chains for mechanical and electronic subassemblies.
