Job summary

Nidec Corporation is seeking a Project Manager for New Product Development (NPD) in the United States to lead cross-functional teams from concept through launch, ensuring governance and disciplined execution aligned to customer requirements and strategic business objectives.

The PM will manage hardware/software development, testing, supplier coordination, and release readiness, focusing on on-time delivery, cost control, and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related technical discipline.
• PMP Certification preferred; 5+ years of project management experience.
• Experience handling large New Product Development projects scope while driving internal and external team members.
• Agile/Scrum experience is a plus; strong communication with executive level teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional project meetings to drive actions and decisions.
• Own end-to-end planning: scope, schedule, budget, risks.
• Prepare governance packages and gate readiness.
• Engage diverse global teams across electronics, validation, manufacturing, and finance.
• Identify and manage project risks and blockers.
• Use PM tools to track milestones and critical path.
