Senior Aerospace SSP in Burbank, CA is seeking an intern to support the New Product Development team with daily tasks, special assignments, and project activity documentation.

The role focuses on assisting program management, producing technical materials, and contributing to process improvements while gaining exposure to cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Mechanical Eng, Aerospace Eng, or Physics; other technical degrees may be considered.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Demonstrate ability to face unfamiliar problems by application of first principles of engineering and physics.
• Demonstrate leadership and technical competence, backed by examples of actual execution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to break down complex projects into actionable and measurable tasks.
• Excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist NPD team with daily tasks and special assignments.
• Support program management execution and documentation.
• Expedite production activities and resolve logistics issues.
• Prepare program materials for customer review.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and data-driven insights.
