Job summary

Brown University Health is seeking an NPD Education Manager to design, deliver, and evaluate nursing education across the continuum of care. You will apply adult learning principles, support onboarding, and manage competencies to improve patient outcomes.

The role requires collaboration with unit and system leaders, leveraging innovations in education delivery, and driving a culture of inquiry and continuous improvement. Primarily onsite with some travel to Brown Health sites in Rhode Island.

Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• Current RN license in applicable state.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS and AHA instructor certs preferred.
• NPD specialty or other professional certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate learning needs and provide just-in-time education.
• Collaborate with leaders to develop and deliver tailored education programs.
• Plan onboarding and coordinate role transitions for new hires.
• Provide coaching and build preceptor capacity for staff development.
• Promote evidence-based practice and measure impact on outcomes.
