Job summary

Brown University Health's Nursing Professional Development Education Manager designs, delivers, and evaluates education across the continuum of care, aligning with evidence-based practice, regulatory standards, and system priorities. This role supports onboarding, competency management, and professional development to advance nursing excellence.

As a member of the leadership team, the NPD Education Manager leads learning initiatives, guides practice transitions, and fosters a culture of inquiry.

Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN/related field preferred.
• Current RN license in applicable state; in good standing.
• BL S certificate required; ACLS/PALS and AHA instructor certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate learning needs and provide just-in-time education.
• Develop and deliver tailored education programs with leaders.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate onboarding and competency programs.
• Provide coaching and build preceptor capacity.
• Promote evidence-based practice and measure impact.
• Participate in quality assessments and system initiatives.
• Maintain records and ensure accreditation readiness.
