The Technical Writer for NPD Engineering supports New Product Development programs by creating, maintaining, and delivering high-quality engineering documentation required for customer and regulatory compliance. This role partners closely with Test Engineering, Design Engineering, and Program Management to transform technical requirements, engineering inputs, customer specifications, and established templates into clear, accurate, customer-ready documentation. The position plays a critical role in improving documentation quality and on-time delivery while increasing technical-writing capacity across NPD programs.
This position offers high visibility within a growing NPD and Test Engineering organization and the opportunity to make an immediate impact on critical customer deliverables. The Technical Writer will gain exposure to complex qualification and test activities, help strengthen NPD documentation processes, and become an important partner to Engineering and Program Management. As the organization grows, strong performance may create opportunities for expanded technical responsibility, increased customer interaction, or future progression toward Test Engineering.
This position is fully on-site in Chandler, Arizona and works a Monday-Friday schedule. No routine travel is expected. The NPD environment is fast-paced and may involve frequent priority shifts, customer-driven deadlines, and multiple revision cycles across concurrent programs.
