Chemring Energetic Devices (CED) in Downers Grove, IL seeks a Project Manager - New Product Development (Engineering) to lead NPD programs from inception to completion. You will drive projects on time and budget, collaborating across departments and managing resources to deliver innovative, mission-critical solutions.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in aerospace/military PM, PMP certification, and an advanced degree.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive project management experience in Aerospace/Military.
• Current PMP certification or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire.
• Advanced degree (MSME, MBA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads all phases of NPD projects, customer and internally funded.
• Defines scope and manages scope creep with Contracts/Pricing.
• Uses earned value management to plan schedules and costs.
• Manages risks and keeps programs on track with mitigations.
