Chemring Energetic Devices, Downers Grove, IL, is seeking a Project Manager for government contracting programs. You will plan production schedules, coordinate IPTs, manage budgets and forecasts, and report progress to stakeholders to keep projects on track.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business and a PMP certification (or ability to obtain within one year). Strong communication, leadership, and MS Project skills are required; US person per ITAR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or business or equivalent experience.
• PMP certification or ability to obtain within one year.
• Proven project management experience in government contracting.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain project schedules and coordinate interdepartmental communication.
• Maintain revenue and delivery forecasts in company systems.
• Lead weekly IPT meetings and manage action items and dependencies.
• Report EAC updates and track budgets vs. plan with Finance.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigations.
• Provide status updates to stakeholders and maintain dashboards.
• Ensure BOMs/routes are ready for ERP planning and execution.
