Job summary

Chemring Energetic Devices (CED) in Downers Grove, IL, seeks a Program Manager II to lead a segment within the PMO, coordinating with multiple project managers to align schedules and budgets for a major business outcome. You will establish standards and processes with PMO leadership to improve performance, manage cross-functional teams, monitor progress, and report trends to leadership.

Requires engineering degree, PMP or ability to obtain, 3+ years PoR program mgmt, US person/ITAR, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline; PMP Certification or within one year
• Minimum of 3 years of PoR program management experience in Aviation/Aerospace/Defense
• US Person eligible; ITAR/compliance requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional Integrated Program Team (IPT) to achieve program success
• Manage program plans, schedules, and budgets
• Oversee cost, schedule, and technical baseline within program constraints
• Ensure stakeholder communication and quality/delivery targets
• Drive program risk management and mitigation reporting
• Support proposal development and related growth opportunities
• Review schedules, budgets, risks, and actions across teams
