Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. seeks a Full Time Advanced Practice Nurse (NP) for a busy Pediatric Hematology/Oncology office in Neptune, NH Tower. The NP will provide direct patient care, collaborate with physicians, and participate in care coordination for pediatric cancer patients.

Qualifications include an NP degree, NJ licensure, NPI, and prescriptive authority. Oncology experience and EPIC know-how are preferred. Hours are 8:00-4:30, with strong focus on teamwork and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of NLN/AACN accredited nursing program.
• Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education and clinical practice.
• Experience in a relevant patient care setting (or as regulations dictate).
• National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Prescriptive authority through CDS and DEA registration according to New Jersey state law.
• Collaborative agreement with physicians on staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Job description

The Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) utilizes a patient-centered coordinated care model, demonstrating competencies in leadership, direct clinical practice, consultation/collaboration, coaching/guiding, research, and ethical decision‑making. The APN works collaboratively with the practice/hospital team to assess, plan, and implement care for individuals with health and safety needs.

This position is for a Full Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) for busy Peds Hem/Onc office located in Neptune in the HOPE Tower.

Hours are 8:00-4:30.

Oncology experience preferred and EPIC experience a plus.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
