Job summary

Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group invites an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Orthopedic Surgery Division. This 1.0FTE, Monday–Friday position focuses on hip and knee total joint care, with outpatient clinic duties at SRS Frost Street and inpatient responsibilities at Sharp Memorial and Sharp Coronado.

Candidates must have an active, unrestricted California NP or PA license and current board certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of full-time NP/PA experience in an orthopedics setting.
• Experience with total joint orthopedic surgery and hip and knee replacements preferred.
• Active, unrestricted California NP or PA license.
• Current board certification in applicable specialty.
• Must be comfortable working independently.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orthopedic NP/PA care in clinic and hospital settings with outpatient/inpatient mix.
• Partner with a Total Joint Orthopedic Surgeon to support hip and knee replacement care.
• Provide comprehensive care and contribute to exceptional patient outcomes.
