Job summary

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant must be licensed and qualified to practice in the state.
• DEA registration must be active (federal/state requirements).
• Certified Physician Assistant (NCCPA) certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, diagnoses, and treats patients according to approved protocols and standards.
• Provides medical services and health education to patients and families.
• Collaborates with physician for assessment and treatment.
• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures per protocols and licensing.
• Interprets diagnostic information and confirms plan with physician.
• Ensures appropriate referrals are made for patients.
• Maintains accurate patient records and information.
