Hackensack Meridian Health seeks an Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant for GI Motility in an outpatient setting in Neptune Township, NJ. This full-time, day-shift role operates Monday through Friday, 8:30am–5pm, with benefits.

You will work with the hospital team to assess, plan, and implement patient care for GI motility needs. The candidate should hold an NLN/AACN accredited nursing degree, a Master’s or Doctorate in NP, NJ NP/PA licensure, NPI, prescriptive authority, and strong

Jobbeschreibung

The Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) or Physician Assitant utilizes a patient-centered coordinated care model, demonstrating competencies in leadership, direct clinical practice, consultation/collaboration, coaching/guiding, research, and ethical decision-making. The APN works collaboratively with the practice/hospital team to assess, plan, and implement care for individuals with health and safety needs.

Specialty is GI Motility.

Day shift.

Full time position w/ benefits.

Outpatient position in our Hope Tower location

Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5pm.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Graduate of an NLN/AACN accredited nursing program.
• Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education and clinical practice.
• Experience in a relevant patient care setting (or as regulations dictate).
• National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Prescriptive authority through CDS and DEA registration according to New Jersey state law.
• Collaborative agreement with physicians on staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License.
• Advance Practice Nurse License.
• BLS AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
• Board certified by AANP or ANCC.
• AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Successful completion of an approved physician's assistant program, accredited by the AMA Council on Medical Education.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• Physician Assistant License.
• National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
• BLS AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
