Job summary

Matrix Providers is hiring a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to conduct one-time, non-treatment Veteran Disability Exams in San Antonio, Texas. The position is full-time with standard 8-5 hours, Monday to Friday, and offers a competitive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life insurance, PTO, paid holidays, and 401(k).

An active NP/PA license and NCCPA certification for PAs, a master’s degree or approved PA program, BLS, and strong teamwork and computer skills

Qualifications

• Active NP/PA license required and unrestricted.
• NCCPA certification active for PA role.
• Master’s degree or completed PA program.
• Active BLS certification.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Vaccination per CDC/state guidelines.
• VA exam experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review medical history and perform one-time, non-treatment VA exams.
• Capture responses electronically via web-based forms.
• Submit completed exams to the VA for disability determinations.
• Perform musculoskeletal, cardio, and respiratory exams; order ancillaries as needed.
