Matrix Providers is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to perform one-time, non-treatment Veteran Disability Exams in Pueblo, CO. This part-time role focuses on accurate history review and exam documentation using web-based forms, with exams sent to the VA for disability determinations.

The position requires an active NP or PA license, NCCPA for PAs, a master's degree, active BLS, and vaccination per CDC/state guidelines. On-site work and quick adaptation are valued.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted NP or PA license.
• NCCPA certification for PAs.
• Master’s degree or PA program completion.
• Active BLS certification.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Vaccination per CDC/state guidelines.
• VA exam experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Review pertinent medical history and provide one-time, non-treatment veteran exams.
• Capture responses during the exam via web-based forms; submit electronically.
• Exams are sent to VA for disability award determinations.
• Standard exams include musculoskeletal, cardio, and respiratory.
• Ancillaries (X-rays, labs, EKGs, PFTs, ABIs) may be ordered and completed on site or nearby.
