Job summary

Mount Sinai Health System is seeking a Clinical Program Manager to ensure orientation, competency assessment, and educational initiatives for nursing staff within a designated clinical program.

You will interface with clinical leadership to support high-quality care, staff performance, and outcome measures, while managing education and operations to drive compliant and effective clinical practice.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing is required.
• NP Certification in specialty area preferred.
• 5 years directly related experience; New York State License with current registration as an RN; Certification in specialty area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees clinical operations within the program, using data and fact-based problem solving to improve processes and outcomes.
• Recruits, orients, trains, coaches, counsels, mentors, disciplines, and evaluates staff in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Develops, maintains, and reconciles departmental budget with financial responsibility and oversight.
• Plans, develops, and maintains departmental standard operating procedures; reviews and updates policies and procedures as needed.
• Coordinates educational and performance improvement activities within a designated clinical specialty with Nursing, Medical and Quality Leadership.

Education
