Job summary

TheKey in Spokane and surrounding areas is hiring caregivers to join our in-home care team. We offer day, short, and split shifts, full-time and part-time positions, and competitive pay starting at $20–$24 per hour.

As a caregiver you will provide 1:1 support in clients' homes, including personal care, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship. Eligible applicants should have at least 6 months caregiving experience, CPR certification, and be able to obtain CNA or HCA certification

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of caregiving experience.
• CPR certification required.
• CNA or HCA certification, or eligible to obtain within 120 days from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients 1:1 with personal care, dressing, bathing, grooming, and meals.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Transport clients to appointments and run errands.
• Provide companionship and social engagement.

Responsibilities

As a Caregiver for TheKey, you’ll assist your clients 1:1 with the following activities inside their homes:

• Personal care: dressing, bathing, grooming and assisting with meals
• Light housekeeping: basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing
• Transportation: Driving clients to appointments, running errands, and grocery shopping
• Companionship: games, puzzles or other activities that provide social and emotional support

Qualifications

At TheKey, we pride ourselves on hiring compassionate caregivers who meet the following eligibility requirements:

• At least 6 months of caregiving experience
• CNA or HCA, or able to get certified within 120 days from date of hire
• CPR certification required
• Alzheimer's or Dementia experience is a plus
• At least 18 years of age
• Basic computer skills
• Driver for clients (with vehicle, car insurance and registration) required.
