Job summary

TALENT Software Services is seeking a Temporary Peer Notetaking Coordinator to support the Disability Access Office (DAO) in Cambridge, MA. This role recruits and onboards student notetakers, sets up payments, and ensures prompt support for DAO-registered students during the semester start.

You'll manage administrative tasks, maintain records, and communicate primarily via email. Experience in higher education or disability services is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the recruitment and assignment of Peer Notetakers for DAO-registered students during the first weeks of the semester.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for Peer Notetakers and DAO students, responding to questions and providing prompt, professional communication primarily via email.
  • Complete administrative tasks and update student and notetaker information using the AIM (Accessible Information Management) system.
  • Maintain accurate records and tracking information using spreadsheets.
  • Onboard new Peer Notetakers and provide guidance on the peer notetaking process.
  • Assist with troubleshooting questions or concerns and elevate issues when appropriate.
  • Use the Buy2Pay system to assist with hiring and payment setup for student Peer Notetakers.
  • Monitor outstanding tasks and follow up with students to ensure assignments are completed in a timely manner.
  • Prioritize multiple tasks effectively during high-volume periods.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle student information appropriately.
