Job summary

Anne Arundel Community College notary instructor position requires facilitating the Maryland Notary Public curriculum and training. Instruction may be on campus or at alternate locations, in traditional or online environments, to prepare students to become licensed notaries in Maryland.

The role demands active Maryland Notary commission, prior teaching experience, and the ability to administer exams, complete college/state paperwork, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Notary commission required.
• Active authorized Notary Public course of study and examination provider status from Maryland preferred.
• Two years minimum experience teaching Maryland Notary Public.
• One year of active notary experience.
• Online teaching experience and E-Notary certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Maryland Notary Public instruction in traditional or online formats.
• Administer examinations for notary applicants.
• Complete required paperwork and reports to college and State of Maryland.
• Maintain attendance and grade records and report accordingly.
