Job summary

Anne Arundel Community College seeks a part-time Notary Public Instructor to deliver Maryland Notary curriculum in traditional and online settings. You will guide students toward becoming licensed notaries and administer the notary exam when appropriate.

The role requires some in-person campus presence and offers compensation of $26 to $32.30 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package. Applicants should hold a Maryland Notary and have teaching experience and at least an associates degree.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Notary commission is required.
• Two years of Maryland Notary Public instructor experience.
• One year of active notary experience.
• Associates degree or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide the course of study for those applying for or renewing their notary commission.
• Administer the examination for those applying for a notary commission.
• Complete required paperwork and submit reports to the college and State of Maryland.
• Maintain attendance and grades records and submit reports accordingly.
• Provide instruction in traditional and/or online environments for becoming licensed notaries in Maryland.
