Qualifications

• BS in accounting or finance required.
• CPA or CPA-eligible is required or preferred.
• 2-3 years public accounting experience, with leadership.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engagement team on planning and execution of audit, review or compilation engagements.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the audit engagement from staffing to financial reporting and conclusion.
• Provide supervision and mentoring to staff and promote open communication with engagement manager and partner.
• Perform and oversee nonprofit attest procedures focusing on trade and membership organizations.
• Collaborate with managers and partners on client issue resolution and regulatory considerations.
• Review all schedule and non-scheduled general ledger accounts for accuracy.
• Manage multiple engagements concurrently with various teams to meet deadlines.
• Create and track engagement budgets to identify inefficiencies.
• Conduct discussions with team members on evaluations and provide guidance.
• Participate in professional development programs as an instructor or discussion leader.
