Job summary

Withum's Auditing and Attest Engagement services form the backbone of our firm. This Audit Manager role will lead Not-for-Profit engagements, from planning through completion, supervising staff and coordinating with partners.

Based in Tysons or other office locations, you will drive client service, ensure compliance with US GAAP, and mentor team members while pursuing leadership opportunities within the Not-for-Profit Industry group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and CPA license.
• 5+ years of public accounting experience, including leading multiple engagements and supervising staff.
• Not-for-Profit industry experience preferred but not required.
• Strong analytical, technical and auditing skills with familiarity with US GAAP.
• Excellent client service and communication skills with the ability to manage client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engagement team on planning and execution of audits, reviews, or compilations for Not-for-Profit clients.
• Oversee day-to-day audit engagement activities including staffing, planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, and financial reporting.
• Provide supervision and mentorship to staff, seniors, and supervisors and liaise with partners.
• Collaborate on issue resolution and advise on regulatory and accounting matters arising during engagements.
• Manage multiple engagements and meet client deadlines; monitor budgets and provide performance feedback.
