Withum's Audit and Attest practice is the cornerstone of our firm. This Audit Manager role will work with the Not-for-Profit Industry team and can be based out of any office. You will lead audit engagements from planning through completion, supervising staff and building client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and CPA license are required.
• Public accounting experience with leading multiple engagements and supervising staff is required.
• Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills including familiarity with US GAAP.
• Exceptional client service and communication skills to build client relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects.
• Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engagement team staff on planning and execution of audit, review or compilation engagements.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the engagement from staffing to financial reporting.
• Provide supervision and support to staff and promote open communication with the engagement partner.
• Collaborate with seniors, supervisors and partners on client issue resolution and advise on regulatory and accounting issues.
• Manage multiple engagements concurrently to meet client deadlines.
• Create and monitor engagement budgets and discuss evaluations with team members.
• Serve in professional development programs as an instructor or discussion leader.
