Job summary

Withum’s Not-for-Profit Audit team seeks an Audit Manager to lead engagements from planning to completion, mentor staff, and collaborate with partners.

The role can be based out of any office and offers leadership opportunities with a clear path to advancement. Candidates should have a CPA, a accounting degree, 5+ years in public accounting, and familiarity with US GAAP; some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and CPA license required.
• 5+ years of public accounting experience, leading engagements.
• Experience with Not-For-Profit clients preferred.
• Familiarity with US GAAP.
• Strong client service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements from planning to completion, with supervision of staff.
• Oversee day-to-day audit engagement operations including staffing and risk assessment.
• Mentor staff and coordinate with partners and managers.
• Build and maintain client relationships.
• Manage multiple engagements and budgets.
• Participate in professional development and training.
