Job summary

SMS DATA PRODUCTS GROUP, INC is hiring Storage & Virtualization Engineers to support the AFCENT NOSC contract at Shaw AFB. The NOSC program runs 24/7 enterprise network operations, including cybersecurity, engineering, maintenance, and technical support, to keep the AFCENT theater communications and IT infrastructure secure and available to enable mission execution.

Applicants should have an Associates in a related field or 3+ years of relevant experience, with certifications such as CompTIA

Qualifications

Associates degree in a related field or 3+ years of relevant experience, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
Must be eligible for DoD Secret clearance (or interim clearance).
Certifications listed in the qualifications are required or preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide administration, installation, operation, and maintenance support on NOSC networks and systems.
Monitor security posture including STIG compliance, patching and vulnerability mitigation.
Remediate STIG gaps, patching, and endpoint protection for NOSC devices and systems.
Maintain server rooms, cabling, and equipment organization.
Design and maintain network layer architecture with diagrams and rack elevations.
Monitor NOSC status and remediate outages using standard management platforms.
Coordinate ASIs for maintenance and manage spare parts inventory.
Perform data backup and recovery for servers and applications.
Respond to tickets and incidents per NOSC policies and procedures.
Provide desktop/client support for NOSC networks and cloud mail accounts.
