Job summary

SMS DATA PRODUCTS GROUP, INC is seeking a Datacenter Network Architect to design and engineer campus/datacenter networks, support CONUS/OCONUS deployments, and provide operational IT and security-focused duties at Shaw AFB SC. The role requires DoD security clearance eligibility and strong expertise in routing, 802.1x, and WLAN design.

Responsibilities include architecture design, extensive TDY support, documentation, and ongoing WAN/LAN/IT management tasks across a 24/7 enterprise environment

Qualifications

• Associates in related field and 3 or more years relevant IT experience; or 5 or more years relevant IT experience
• Knowledge of what constitutes a threat to a network
• Skill in providing feedback to enhance future collection and analysis
• Must possess experience and demonstrate an understanding of Microsoft server installation roles active directory storage performance management and maintenance
• Have a strong understanding of 8021x
• Be proficient in routing protocols OSPF EIGRP BGP and MPLS
• A thorough understanding of IP concepts including implementing routing VLANs QoS tuning and capacity management concepts

• Use extensive Wireless LAN background to design campus network architectures to provide proper coverage and support the ability for users to seamlessly move between WLAN access nodes without disconnection or other interruptions in service using appropriate and relevant networking protocols
• Configure design and maintain datacenter network architecture equipment
