Job summary

rabbittransit is seeking a Northumberland Driver (Non CDL) Part-Time to safely transport passengers on scheduled routes from 61 Tyler Avenue, Elysburg, PA. The role offers a part-time schedule with a 11 AM - 5:30 PM and 7:30 AM - 5 PM options, plus PTO and retirement plan deferral opportunities.

This positions you as a key part of our community mobility mission, delivering reliable rides and maintaining vehicle readiness.

Responsibilities

• Transport passengers safely and courteously to required destinations.
• Ensure vehicles meet daily inspections and are ready for service.
• Assist passengers with wheelchairs or mobility devices as needed.
• Keep accurate driving and trip records and report to Dispatch.
• Communicate with Site Manager/Operations Supervisor as needed.

Northumberland Driver (Non CDL) Part-Time

Vehicle Pick Up/Drop Off Location: 61 Tyler Avenue, Elysburg, PA

Pay: $18.75 per hour with Weekly Pay

PTO, Option to Defer to 457 Plan (Retirement Savings Plan)

• - Mon thru Fri 11 AM - 5:30 PM
• - Mon, Thurs, Fri 7:30 AM - 5 PM

The job of a rabbittransit operator is more important than providing a trip from point A to point B. Our operators are essential workers who carry out the Authority's mission of helping people gain mobility.

Throughout the day, our Shared Ride Operators safely and courteously transport passengers where they need to go. This is done by ensuring vehicles meet daily inspections, assisting passengers with wheelchairs or other mobility devices, keeping accurate driving records, communicating with dispatch, and reporting to the Site Manager/Operations Supervisor as needed.
