Job summary

rabbittransit is seeking a Shared Ride Operator in Selinsgrove, PA. You will safely transport passengers, assist with mobility devices, and perform daily vehicle inspections, all while maintaining clear communication with dispatch and reporting to site supervision.

This on-site position features a Monday–Friday schedule, 12:00 PM–6:30 PM, with opportunities for overtime and a clear path to provide essential community mobility. Eligible for PTO and deferral to a 457 retirement plan.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate passenger vehicles safely.
• Ability to assist passengers with mobility devices.
• Ability to follow daily inspection procedures and driving logs.

Responsibilities

• Transport passengers to and from destinations.
• Perform and document daily vehicle inspections.
• Assist passengers with wheelchairs or mobility devices.
• Maintain accurate driving records and logbook entries.
• Communicate with dispatch and report to Site Manager/Operations Supervisor.

Vehicle Pick Up/Drop Off Location: 713 Bridge St. Selinsgrove, PA

Pay: $18.75 per hour with Weekly Pay

PTO, Option to Defer to 457 Plan (Retirement Savings Plan)

Schedule currently open: Monday thru Friday 12 Noon until 6:30 PM

Throughout the day, our Shared Ride Operators safely and courteously transport passengers where they need to go. This is done by ensuring vehicles meet daily inspections, assisting passengers with wheelchairs or other mobility devices, keeping accurate driving records, communicating with dispatch, and reporting to the Site Manager/Operations Supervisor as needed.
