Job summary

rabbittransit is seeking a Shared Ride Operator in Elysburg, PA. You will transport passengers, assist with mobility devices, and ensure safe, courteous service while adhering to daily vehicle inspections and record-keeping.

Schedule typically Mon, Tue, Fri 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with paid weekly, PTO, and retirement plan deferral options. This role supports our mission to provide reliable mobility and connect people to essential experiences.

Vehicle Pick Up/Drop Off Location: 61 Tyler Avenue, Elysburg, PA

Pay: $18.75 per hour with Weekly Pay

PTO, Option to Defer to 457 Plan (Retirement Savings Plan)

Schedule:Mon, Tues, Fri 8 AM - 4:30 PM

Our operators are essential workers who carry out the Authority's mission of helping people gain mobility.

Throughout the day, our Shared Ride Operators safely and courteously transport passengers where they need to go. This is done by ensuring vehicles meet daily inspections, assisting passengers with wheelchairs or other mobility devices, keeping accurate driving records, communicating with dispatch, and reporting to the Site Manager/Operations Supervisor as needed. As an operator, by providing access to safe, reliable transportation, you can connect people to experiences they once believed were out of reach.
