Job summary

The Worksphere seeks an experienced Service Manager to lead commercial HVAC service operations across Sacramento and Northern California. Based in Lodi, you’ll manage field technicians, support customers, and drive profitability of the service department.

You will split time 20% in the field and 80% in the office, coordinating with ownership and leadership to scale the Northern California operation and prepare for future Head of Operations opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commercial HVAC, mechanical services, or related trade with strong field experience.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and hold technicians accountable.
• Comfortable spending ~20% in the field and ~80% in the office.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills with stakeholders.
• Experience managing schedules, manpower, workflow, and priorities.
• Financial acumen including job costing, labor efficiency, profitability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day commercial HVAC and mechanical service operations in Sacramento and Northern California.
• Spend majority of time in the field supporting technicians and visiting job sites.
• Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, training, and accountability to service staff.
• Manage service schedules, manpower, workflow, and priorities to maximize efficiency.
• Be a primary contact for customers, building owners, property managers, and facility teams.
