Job summary

Round Table Pizza is seeking an experienced Area Manager to oversee 8–12 restaurant locations throughout Northern California. This hands-on, field-based leadership role focuses on driving performance, profitability, operational excellence, and team development, working closely with General Managers to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications include 5+ years of multi-unit restaurant management, strong financial acumen, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of multi-unit restaurant management experience.
• Proven experience leading and developing General Managers and restaurant teams.
• Strong financial knowledge with experience managing P&Ls, labor, food costs and profitability.
• Ability to identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent communication, organization and leadership skills.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced field-based environment across multiple locations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and restaurant POS systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 8–12 restaurant locations across Northern California.
• Coach, develop, and support General Managers and restaurant teams.
• Drive sales, profitability, and operational performance area-wide.
• Manage P&L metrics including labor, food costs, and profitability.
• Conduct visits and inspections to ensure brand standards.
• Analyze performance and develop action plans to improve results.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, labor laws and company policies.
• Lead performance management, training, and talent development.
• Partner with Training, Marketing, and other departments on promotions and initiatives.
• Maintain a strong field presence and provide hands-on support as needed.
• Troubleshoot operational challenges across locations; adapt to evenings/weekends/holidays as required.
