HDR is seeking a Waste Northeast Business Development Leader to drive market opportunities across the Northeast region. You will collaborate with Area Market Sector Leaders and Practice Leadership to grow HDR’s Waste sector through cross‑discipline teamwork and strategic client engagement.

You’ll manage key client relationships, help recruit talent, monitor market trends, and develop plans with tracking systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.
• Professional engineering registration or certificate or related technical experience.
• Ability to build a network of clients and industry partners.
• Strong financial acumen and negotiation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience growing programs in new or highly competitive markets.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with Area Market Sector Leader, Regional Business Development Leader, and Practice Leadership to ensure local teams drive market opportunities within the Sector growth.
• Strategic growth of the Northeast Region by identifying market sector opportunities and implementing plans to capture additional opportunities and markets.
• Coordinate with Area Market Sector Leads, Area RBG Managers, Practice Leaders, and local areas to develop a coordinated team focused on the market sector with key clients.
• Track market changes through client/industry involvement and manage HDR image/reputation; attend conferences.
• Develop and collaborate on a Waste approach for Client Development Plans with a tracking system.
• Serve as Project Manager for select key clients.
• Identify and recruit key talent in the Waste market and support staff retention.
• Leverage HDR resources for cross-sector and multi-business collaboration for targeted clients.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop market strategies, initiatives, and business development.
• Identify opportunities and grow the Waste Sector.
