Job summary

The Richmond Group USA seeks a driven sales professional to cover the Northeast regional opportunity for food processing and packaging equipment. The role targets Maine to Virginia with a strong emphasis on hunting new business and expanding the active territory.

You will receive warm introductions, hands-on training, and guidance from the current seller promoted from this territory, with travel about 60% or more. A degree is preferred, but strong performers are welcome.

Qualifications

• Experience in equipment or technical sales.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, controls, or automation systems.
• Experience with custom components or engineered products.
• Background in food manufacturing or production machinery.
• Inside sales or applications engineering background.
• Field service or technical customer support experience.
• Experience with installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Grow the Northeast territory through proactive sales efforts and customer development.
• Engage and close opportunities with inbound and outbound prospects.
• Coordinate with engineering and service teams to ensure smooth implementation.
