Digital Realty is seeking a Subregional Design Lead for the Northeast to coordinate architectural, electrical, and mechanical engineering across Ashburn, VA; Charlotte, NC; and Atlanta, GA. This hybrid role requires leadership to plan staffing, mentor teams, and ensure design quality and code compliance.

You will lead design reviews, engage with clients and vendors, and drive standards across projects while promoting teamwork and career growth. Strong data center experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architectural or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university; Master's preferred.
• Professional registration as Electrical/Mechanical Engineer or Architect required.
• Extensive knowledge of Building and Energy Codes, ASHRAE and NFPA codes.
• LEED AP preferred.
• 10–15 years' experience in design of data centers and mission‑critical facilities.

Responsabilités

• Plan, coordinate, and direct activities, projects, and staff across disciplines.
• Mentor discipline personnel with training and career development.
• Review architectural, mechanical, and engineering deliverables for quality and code compliance.
• Lead discipline meetings and design reviews with staff and clients.
