Job summary

Vantage is seeking a Director of Design Management to lead regional design efforts for hyperscale data centers across our North American footprint, including Denver. The role blends hands-on technical work with strategic leadership, guiding design from concept through construction while aligning with customer requirements and corporate objectives.

You will manage a team of design managers, collaborate with Market Development, Engineering and Delivery, and drive standardization, tooling adoption,

Qualifications

• 10+ years in design management for mission-critical, hyperscale data centers or high-tech facilities.
• Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams and align design with business goals.
• Experience with early-stage project development and adopting design standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional Design Management efforts across multiple projects and lifecycle phases.
• Oversee internal and external design teams including architects and engineers.
• Drive adoption of new tools, templates, and governance practices to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Collaborate with Construction, Operations and Commercial teams to ensure design alignment with market needs.
• Provide regional design insights, risk reporting, and escalation for senior leadership.
• Manage site feasibility studies, due diligence, and change management processes.
