Job summary

Rowan Digital Infrastructure seeks a Design Manager to provide engineering and architectural expertise across the data center portfolio. This leadership role supports site origination through facility operations, coordinating design and field engineering for complex development.

The ideal candidate will lead consultants across disciplines, ensure constructability, and maintain Rowan standards in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Denver hybrid, travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Accredited professional degree in Architecture, Engineering or related field.
• PE license or AIA membership is required.
• 9+ years of experience leading large-scale commercial/industrial development, architectural, or civil design projects.
• 5+ years of hands-on construction oversight in the field with strong knowledge of safety and QC.
• Knowledge of construction practices, sustainability, and integrated design guidelines.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate large teams of consultants.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural and engineering consultants in design, permitting, and coordination of data center building and site design.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams to drive cohesive data center design.
• Provide on-site field support during construction, ensuring adherence to specs and standards.
• Prepare construction documents including drawings, specs, and scopes of work.
• Review contractor submittals and RFIs to ensure quality and compliance.
• Engage with permitting agencies and client technical experts.
