Job summary

HDR is seeking a Solid Waste Project Manager to lead diverse solid waste and recycling projects across New England, with emphasis on project management, business development, and client engagement. Travel to regional offices and client sites throughout the Northeast is expected.

Role includes management of projects across facility design, planning, cost estimating, and operational monitoring for waste-to-energy facilities, landfills, and organics processing sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 7 years related experience.
• Minimum 2 years project management experience.
• Ability to interact with design teams and strong written/verbal communication.
• Active participation in an employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Function as project manager or technical lead on solid waste projects.
• Establish client relations and lead marketing and design activities.
• Coordinate staffing and workload across project phases.
• Deliverables and milestones on schedule.
• Collaborate with Project Managers on reviews and updates.
• Ensure QA/QC procedures are followed.
