Qualifications

• 10+ years in underwriting management, with Commercial Lines: Casualty & Property.
• Proven track record managing commercial accounts from $100k–$500k in premium.
• At least 5 years in operational leadership, driving efficiency and growth.
• MBA or equivalent certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic direction, planning, and operations of the Northeast region.
• Oversee underwriting practices for Commercial Lines: Property & Casualty with a focus on $100k–$500k premiums.
• Collaborate with underwriting managers to review guidelines, policies, and risk selection standards.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize efficiency and customer experience.
• Analyze data trends and develop insights to drive growth and improvements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Build relationships with internal teams, clients, brokers and external partners.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performance regional team.
• Serve as trusted advisor on underwriting and operational matters.
