Job summary

Zygo, a business unit of AMETEK, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive growth across the Northeastern United States and Eastern Canada from a virtual base in the US. The role requires collaboration with engineering, product management, and sales leadership to deliver high-value metrology solutions.

The ideal candidate has a technical engineering background with 5+ years in technical sales, strong communication skills, and a hunter mindset.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline required.
5+ years of technical sales experience selling high-value capital equipment.
Willingness to travel up to 60% throughout the territory.
Experience selling metrology systems or similar equipment preferred.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic sales plans for the Northeastern US and Eastern Canada.
Identify and secure new business opportunities while expanding existing accounts.
Build partnerships with customers and internal teams; deliver customized metrology solutions.
Manage pricing, discounts, forecasts, and pipeline within Salesforce CRM.
Communicate market trends and customer requirements to leadership; support trade shows and regional development activities.
