Job summary

JDRF Electromag Engineering Inc. is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Northeast U.S. to drive specification, quotation, and deployment of Autonomy Lighting in commercial buildings.

The role requires deep technical understanding, field training, and the ability to navigate complex project timelines. You will work with lighting consultants, electrical contractors, and OEMs to secure design wins, train distributors, and manage opportunities from initial contact through commissioning.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional sales experience in commercial lighting or related industry.
• Direct experience with lighting-control systems is strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and project specs.
• Hands-on AutoCAD experience for takeoffs and project drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a regional sales plan to grow specification share and OEM adoption across key stakeholders.
• Visit designers and consultants to secure system specifications and basis of design.
• Lead training and demonstrations for agents, contractors, and customers.
• Produce quotes and manage the project lifecycle from award to handover.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and issue resolution.
• Represent the company at industry events and maintain an active industry presence.
