Job summary

Core & Main is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive growth and expand market share for Gemlock grooved fire protection products in the Northeast region. You will work with engineers, contractors, distributors, and end users to promote Gemlock solutions and ensure successful adoption across fire protection applications.

The role combines technical expertise with sales execution, requiring field visits, technical training, and close collaboration with Brecco’s Engineering Department.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Fire Protection, or related field preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with piping systems, fire protection products, or mechanical components.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time across the Northeast region.
• Residence within the Northeast region.

Responsibilities

• Expand market share and achieve sales targets for Gemlock products in the assigned territory.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities with owners, engineering firms, contractors, and distributors.
• Present Gemlock solutions to engineering offices, design consultants, and contractors to influence specifications.
• Conduct technical seminars, product demonstrations, and trainings to ensure proper understanding and usage of Gemlock products.
• Maintain a structured weekly reporting process and develop territory sales plans.
