Job summary

SAIC seeks a Regional Campaign Planner - Northeast Asia, based at Camp Smith in Hawaii, to support USPACOM Exercise Plans Branch (J752) and bring Northeast Asia expertise across Japan, Korea, and Taiwan for the Joint Training and Exercise Campaign Plan.

Note: International travel up to 10% may be required to coordinate with partner nation staffs and forward-stationed US forces; you will lead dialogues, plan events, and synchronize campaigns across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 10 years of relevant experience; 4 years may substitute.
• JPME Phase I completed; 2 years on joint HQ staff may substitute.
• Extensive Northeast Asia defense forces experience and forward-stationed US forces.
• Proven ability to lead bilateral dialogues and senior leader engagements.
• Experience managing timelines and multiple projects.
• Familiarity with NSS, NDS, NMS and JELC planning products.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate unified action across USPACOM, partners and commands to develop regional Joint Training and Exercise Campaign Plan with milestones and deliverables.
• Plan and support bilateral dialogues with Japan, Korea and Taiwan; prepare briefs and summaries.
• Support development of the Joint Training Plan and Annex M for two-year out planning.
• Support theater and strategic planning events; apply operational art in a dynamic geostrategic environment.
• Support JELC events for FTX/CPX and related training investments across Northeast Asia.
• Develop and maintain relationships across USPACOM staff and allies to enable coordination and unity of effort.
