Job summary

Corps Solutions, Camp Smith, Hawaii, seeks an Exercise Planner to support MARFORPAC planning of OAIs within the Future Operations (FOPS) section. You will work with PACFLT, USARPAC, and USINDOPACOM to enhance readiness and alignment with Indo-Pacific priorities, focusing on Taiwan-related operations and strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Master's degree; bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of MAJCOM/operational planning experience acceptable.
• Understanding of Marine Corps Planning Process and RPIE planning.
• 5–10 years of USMC MAGTF planning experience.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of the Pacific theater and inter-nation relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning efforts for exercise design-related OAIs, ensuring synchronization with Indo-Pacific strategic priorities.
• Foster collaboration between MARFORPAC, PACFLT, USARPAC, and USINDOPACOM.
• Provide execution support for Taiwan-related OAIs with real-time coordination.
• Maintain strategic and long-term planning capability within the FOPS section of the G-3 Division.
• Conduct assessments to identify improvements and readiness enhancements.
• Prepare and deliver briefings/reports to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate risks to personnel, resources, and mission objectives.
