Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Joint Exercise Logistics and Sustainment Planner at Camp Smith, Honolulu, HI to support USPACOM J4 & J7. The role focuses on planning, resourcing, and executing logistics, movement, and sustainment activities for CPX and FTX events using the JELC framework.

The position requires the ability to coordinate across services, allies, and contractors, manage schedules, and ensure OPSEC at multiple classification levels while supporting exercise objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of relevant experience; additional four years accepted in lieu of degree.
• JPME Phase I completed; two years of joint staff experience accepted in lieu of JPME Phase I.
• Thorough knowledge of the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) and CPX planning.
• Experience with Joint planning Process (JPP) or equivalent military planning process.
• Excellent communication with senior government leadership.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute joint exercises such as VALIANT SHIELD, KEEN EDGE, and COBRA GOLD with USPACOM and Allies.
• Develop logistics milestones, sustainment concepts, and scenario injects aligned with theater priorities and J4 guidance.
• Coordinate and synchronize joint logistics functions across supply, maintenance, transportation, engineering, health services and more.
• Lead Sustainment Work Group and ECG functions during exercise execution; manage logistics injects and reporting workflows.
• Maintain OPSEC and coordinate with staff to support CPX objectives using JMD processes.
• Leverage TMS, JTIMS, JTT and related systems for exercise information management.
