Flanigan's Enterprises, Inc. is hiring friendly, customer-focused servers to greet guests, take orders, run food and beverages, and handle payments in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates will be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and communicate clearly in English. Florida-specific vendor and safety certifications are required. Five-day work weeks with health benefits and 401(k) available.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, read and write English.
• Must complete Florida Responsible Vendor program.
• Must complete Florida food safety certification.
• Ability to stand 100% of shift and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Follow company safety and sanitation policies and training.
• Support fellow employees in maintaining table appearance and running food/drink.
• Be knowledgeable about Food & Beverage menus and current promotions.
• Enter orders accurately into POS system.
• Retrieve and deliver orders to guests in a timely manner.
• Process payments and deliver correct change.
• Perform shift changes, opening/closing duties, and sidework.
• Package and verify ToGo orders with guests.
• Greet guests at curbside pickup area.
• Stand/walk 100% of shift; lift up to 50 lbs.

Job description

• Follows all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training
• Support fellow employees in maintaining table appearance, food/drink running, etc. as needed
• Be knowledgeable regarding Food & Beverage menus and items, current food and/or drink promotions and specials, and answer guests’ questions verbally and clearly
• Accurately enter orders into POS system
• Retrieve food or drink orders from kitchen or bar area, and deliver them to guests in a timely manner
• Collect guests’ payments (credit cards, cash, or gift cards only), ensure transactions are correct using POS efficiently, calculate and deliver correct change to guests in a timely manner
• Perform shift changes, opening/closing duties, assigned sidework
• Pack and verfy all ToGo orders with guest
• Greet guests at the curbside pickup area
• Can physically stand/walk 100% of shift
• Can reach, bend, stoop frequently
• Able to deliver plates, and clear tables of plates and glasses, which may require lifting up to 50 lbs
• Ability to speak, read and write English
• Ability to read and write handwritten guest checks, notes, etc
• Complete and pass Florida Responsible Vendor program, in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes
• Complete and pass food safety certification program, in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes
• Ability to work flexible hours
