Job summary

Talent Harbor in Dallas is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to own the North Dallas territory, developing new business with manufacturers, distributors, logistics companies, retailers, and other businesses with ongoing shipping needs.

You will spend Monday mornings planning at the Arlington office, then four days in the field meeting prospects, conducting customer meetings, and building long-term relationships to sell transportation solutions based on value.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of B2B outside sales experience.
• Proven success generating new business through outbound prospecting.
• Strong hunter mentality with a history of self-generated sales.
• Comfortable spending 4+ days per week in the field.
• Experience conducting face-to-face sales meetings.
• CRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics, or similar).
• Ability to sell consultatively based on value rather than price.
• Highly motivated, energetic, and resilient.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Generate new revenue through self-generated prospecting.
• Build a pipeline through cold calling, cold visits, referrals, networking, and follow-up.
• Identify companies with recurring shipping and logistics needs.
• Develop relationships with manufacturers, distributors, warehouses, and commercial businesses.
• Complete a minimum of 8 scheduled customer meetings per week; 5+ cold-call visits daily.
